Sustainability is about more than reducing waste, it’s about giving materials a second life and making a meaningful impact. Each year, we donate excess fabric from our workrooms to NSW schools, supporting textile programs and fostering creativity in students. Instead of sending leftover materials to landfill, our team carefully sorts and distributes high-quality fabric to schools, where they become valuable resources for design, art, and craft programs. This initiative not only minimizes waste but also provides students with access to premium materials they might not otherwise have.
Looking ahead, we are committed to expanding this initiative by increasing donations to reach more schools and community programs. We also aim to partner with educators to integrate textile sustainability into learning and explore new ways to upcycle fabric remnants into reusable products. By repurposing our excess fabric, we’re not only reducing waste but also supporting education, fostering creativity, and reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and community engagement.
This program is just one of the ways we strive to make a positive difference, bridging the gap between industry and education while promoting more conscious consumption. By continuing to invest in sustainable practices, we hope to inspire the next generation of designers, creators, and innovators to think differently about materials and their potential beyond a single use.
