Good new… you can still have motorised products without hardwiring!
Our solution is battery-operated motorised blinds, which require no pre-wiring or electrical work. These blinds are:
- Powered by a rechargeable battery
- Operated via a handheld remote control
- Clean and easy to install – perfect for retrofit projects or homes where getting an electrician in isn’t ideal
How often do I need to charge them?
Typically, the battery needs recharging every 3–6 months, depending on how frequently the blinds are used.
Want even less maintenance?
If your window gets lots of sun, we can install a solar charging panel behind the blind to help keep the motor powered year-round, a great option for high-use or hard-to-reach windows.
At Reillys, we do not carry out any electrical work, as we are not qualified electricians.
If your motorised products require hardwired power, you will need to engage a licensed electrician to run wiring to the correct locations. Don’t worry, we’ll make it as easy as possible.
Here’s how we support the process:
- We supply all required connection cables for our motorised products
- We’ll work directly with your electrician to mark out where power is needed
- We’ll coordinate timing so the install runs smoothly
