This was never a quick supply-and-install. Waterbrook Bowral was a long, multi‑stage project where detail, consistency and restraint mattered just as much as scale. High in volume, with a finish that needed to feel calm and effortless.
From early planning through project pauses and restarts, REILLYS remained closely aligned with the Waterbrook team, problem‑solving, adapting, and protecting the original vision at every stage. The outcome is a level of execution that can only come from experience, trust and a genuinely collaborative partnership.
The Partnership
Waterbrook Bowral required more than a supplier. They needed a specialist partner who could guide decisions that would be lived with for decades. When it came to window furnishings, Waterbrook placed that trust in REILLYS for our technical expertise, design insight and ability to deliver at scale.
Over time, the relationship evolved beyond a traditional client, supplier model. It became collaborative, familiar and deeply invested in achieving the best possible outcome, with both teams aligned around quality, longevity and attention to detail.
The Brief
Waterbrook Bowral was not a single building fit‑out, it was an entire village. Private residences, hospitality spaces, wellness areas, performance rooms and communal facilities each required tailored solutions, while still feeling cohesive as a whole.
The brief demanded high‑detail finishes delivered consistently across a large‑scale environment, without compromising comfort, durability or design intent.
The Execution
REILLYS delivered complete window furnishing solutions across the entire village and its communal buildings. This included the specification of a broad range of premium fabrics; from velvets and printed textiles to sheers and high‑performance blackout linings, each selected to suit the function and feel of its space.
Beyond curtains, the scope extended to a mix of motorised and manual blinds throughout all residences, alongside sheer curtains and blinds across shared areas. Highly specialised feature installations were delivered within the theatre, auditorium and cinema, where standard solutions simply wouldn’t suffice. These spaces were finished with lush velvet stage curtains, grand hall treatments, swags and tails, and finely detailed elements designed to elevate the experience of each environment.
The Outcome: High Detail at Scale
What set this project apart was the ability to deliver a premium level of finish across hundreds of individual window treatments. Each space, whether a private villa or a major communal venue, was approached with the same level of care, precision and attention to detail.
The completed Waterbrook Bowral village reflects what is possible when experience, trust and collaboration come together. The window furnishings are not simply functional; they are integral to the identity of the spaces, enhancing comfort, atmosphere and design intent throughout the village. The result is refined, cohesive and built to last.
Why This Matters
